How come are our Hunter ceiling fans ® 30%-50% off the recommended retail price? Simple: we sell “factory renewed” fans – essentially BRAND NEW fans which were returned to the factory, then sent back through quality control to make sure the fan is in perfect working order.

What’s the difference?
What does “factory renewed” really mean? Occasionally a ceiling fan is returned to the factory when a part is missing, or the box has been damaged in transport. For example, if the plastic seal wrap covering the motor wiring has been removed, or there is a broken light fitting or bulb. After the wrong or missing part is replaced, the entire fan is completely inspected and repackaged for sale.

Testing procedure for new Hunter Fans ®:
For every thousand ceiling fans that Hunter makes, about 50 are factory tested.

Testing procedure for “factory renewed” Hunter Fans ®:
All ceiling fans are fully factory tested.

What about the warranty?
Renewed Hunter ceiling fans ® are essentially BRAND NEW, and have the same LIFETIME WARRANTY as all other Hunter ceiling fans ®.

Trained Hunter ceiling fan technicians are in over 250 service centers nationwide.
Hunter has been in business for more than 100 years, and the Hunter warranty is unsurpassed in the ceiling fan industry.

Hunter ceiling fans ® have a LIFETIME WARRANTY (most other fan company warranties are “limited” and only cover the motor parts for the stated life of the warranty. For example, a 20-year warranty will cover the motor parts for 20 years. Labor for the motor is generally covered for 1-year, as are parts and labor for all other components of the fan.)
